SAM is pleased to announce its partnership with Orange Belgium and cyan AG to launch a cutting-edge 360° network security solution. The collaboration aims to provide customers with a unified cybersecurity solution that covers mobile, endpoint, and fixed network protection.

A recent ’Orange voice’ survey revealed that nearly half of Orange Belgium’s customers fear falling victim to cyberattacks, expressing a strong desire for a clear and user-friendly network security solution from their telecom operator. The majority of Orange voicers do use antivirus protection or firewalls, although this applies mainly to laptops and desktops.

The previous cybersecurity partnership with cyan will result in a network-based mobile protection solution, offering cyber protection and content filtering directly on Orange’s network. SAM will contribute a fixed software option that will be embedded in a modem for Orange Belgium’s customers to benefit from cybersecurity at home. To complete their offer and create a seamless 360° security solution, Orange Belgium will add end-point protection for all devices and networks, further enhancing its integrated security scheme.

Given the increasing number of cybersecurity incidents, Orange Belgium is committed to ensuring the safety of its users in the digital world. The company already protects its network and customers with DDoS protection and automatic web traffic filtering, among other measures. The new partnership will provide a digital safety net for all customer devices and strengthen these efforts.
